Nice plugin, but unfortunately our provider does not supply CURL support.
I think that the PHP can be rewritten in a simple way to remove CURL.
The function fcc_nabaztag_send() needs only to do the following instead of the whole curl stuff:
$string = file_get_contents($url);

if (strpos($string,’text has been sent’)) {$results=TRUE;}
else {$results=FALSE;}

This will make Nabaztag talk, and will return true of false depending if there was en error or not. I still need to test this though.
It works for another script that I have.

Perhaps my suggestion is helpful for a next version of this plugin.
