se avete la necessità di sincronizzare gli appuntamenti di outlook con quelli di evolution (e viceversa) automaticamente, jical dovrebbe risolvere i vostri problemi:

se invece vi accontentate semplicemente di esportare i dati da una piattaforma all’altra c’e’ sempre outport:

Outport aims to be a generic program for exporting date from Outlook (Outlook + export = Outport. Original eh? :-) ) to various email/pim programs. It currently it can export to the Contact, Calendar and Task formats of Evolution, plus a number of generic formats supported by Outlook itself (Rich Text Format, HTML, vCalendar, vCard, iCalendar, etc). I’ve tested this with Outlook 2000 and most releases of Evolution 1.0.x and 1.2.x. I have not tested this with any other version of Outlook. I’ve received some reports of success with Outlook XP (and some bugs).

ho scoperto oggi l’esistenza di adattatori USB/Audio/Lan su rete elettrica. Devo dire che permettono di realizzare soluzioni estremamente interessanti, appena verranno commercializzati in italia me ne comprerò un paio… così addio cavi kilometrici che partono dal pc per lo stereo!

ho aggiornato ZOË con la versione 0.55 ed ho installato popFile per la gestione dello spam (che sta aumentando di giorno in giorno).

Adesso tramite ZOË:

se non ho a disposizione un mio pc
– leggo la mail via web
– rispondo alle email tramite la sua interfaccia web

se ho a disposizione il pc, ed è connesso ad internet
– invio le mail sull’smtp di ZOË, così verranno indicizzate
– scarico le mail dal POP3 di ZOË, così sono sempre sincronizzato tra i vari pc e sono sicuro di non scaricare inutile spam (grazie a popFile)
– utilizzo ZOË come RSS reader/aggregator

appena posso pubblicherò un piccolo tutorial sul mio wiki!

Tripwire is an Intrusion Detection System. This can be used to alert users whenever their system is compromised. Tripwire detects and reports changes in system files. ho scoperto su un thread del forum ufficiale di psi che quest’ultimo incorpora (dalla release 0.91) funzionalità di p2p verso gli altri client psi presenti nella propria contact list. Ecco come funziona:

The p2p support is actually in Psi 0.9.1 already, and you can activate a test mode if you want. Launch Psi like this:
psi –linktest –hosts=internal_addr,external_addr –port=8000

For –hosts, you specify a comma-separated list of addresses that your computer can be reached at. Generally this would just be one address, although if you are firewalled you probably have two.
For –port, you may select any port to serve on. All connections go through this one port, which should make router port-forwarding easy for you. If you don’t specify –hosts or –port,
then you can still use –linktest, you just won’t ever be serving TCP. Note that you can still create/accept jabber p2p connections even without serving TCP, as long as your friend is serving.

Now you can right click on a contact and activate the ‘link test’ mode. This contact must also have the linktest enabled for this to work. Use the Direct mode

* nuova milestone (M7) per eclipse, l’ide multipiattaforma e multilinguaggio supportato ufficialmente da IBM.

* sempre a riguardo di IDE non posso non ricordare l’aggiornamento di Anjuta, ide C/C++ scritto in GTK che sta riscuotendo notevole consensi dalla comunità GNOME.

* è uscita la nuova versione di inkscape l’editor SVG opensource:
