nato dal progetto WACT, già trattato in diverse occasioni su questo blog, Limb è un cms che sta suscitando qualche interesse. La gestione delle pagine/sezioni è molto simile a quella di Typo3 o Midgard, quindi è possibile interagire con le pagine/sezioni di un sito direttamente senza passare da un pannello di controllo che spesso obbliga ad una preview od un rebuild del sito stesso. Questa funzionalità è chiamata JIP e così descritta dagli sviluppatori:
LIMB introduces JIP (just in place) managing feature. JIP edition allows dramatically decrease time of learning the CMS and simplify the administration routine
Anche la gestione delle template sfrutta a pieno le potenzialità di WACT, permettendo di scrivere con poche righe di codice template (xhtml valide) comprendenti non poche funzioni (if, for, include..).

Viz’s Toshi Yoshida has confirmed reports that the Inu Yasha TV series is to end soon. At San Diego Comic Con he stated that he had learned from the Japanese producer that episodes 166 and 167 will be a double episode that will mark the end of the series. They will be aired on September 6th.
To date the Inu Yasha franchise includes 159 TV episodes (over 6 seasons), 4 TV Specials, and 3 feature movies, with a 4th on the way in December. As previously reported, a trailer for the fourth movie, Guren no Houraijima (Crimson Horai Island) is available at the official InuYasha movie website.
Viz will release the InuYasha Season One box set, and the first InuYasha movie, on September 7th.”

ieri per non so quale congiunzione astrale il mio cellulare ha deciso che era tempo di farmi delle nuove amicizie ed ha cancellato tutti i contatti… usandolo anche per lavoro la cosa mi ha abbastanza infastidito (soprattutto perchè avrei dovuto chiamare un cliente). Quello che mi ha salvato è la mia mania di sincronizzare i vari pc, una volta tornato a casa mi è bastato far partire fma e ricaricare i 200 contatti persi, avrei potuto fare la stessa cosa anche da linux con evolution (ma il db dei contatti è vecchio di 1 mese).

oltre alla sincronizzazione adesso backuppo anche i VCF dei contatti più importanti, vuoi mai che tutti e 4 i pc diventino inutilizzabili?
